Anna Davies
With over 20 years of experience in mathematics education, I have worked across the UK, Portugal, Switzerland, and Nepal, helping students of all abilities develop confidence in maths. I specialise in supporting students with maths anxiety, using tailored strategies to foster a positive learning experience.
After earning a degree in Management and Logistics from Cranfield University, I trained as a Mathematics teacher in Oxford, specialising in students aged 11–18. Over the course of a decade in the UK, I held a variety of leadership roles, including Assistant Principal, Director of Numeracy, Head of Mathematics, and Pastoral Leader.

Having grown up in a military household, I developed a passion for international experiences, which led me to a career in global education. I have taught in international schools across Nepal, Switzerland, and Portugal. In 2022, I returned to Switzerland, where I now work at a small bilingual international school, and focus on personalised 1:1 support for students who need extra time and care to develop their mathematical skills.

I am passionate about helping young adults thrive by deepening their understanding of mathematics and building the confidence to apply mathematical concepts in real-life situations.

Sam Fichter
I grew up in the U.S. where I studied Geography and Environmental Science along with elementary education. I began my teaching career in Colorado as a grade 5 and 6 classroom teacher at an International Baccalaureate (IB) school. After four years, I moved to Switzerland and taught an additional five years at International School of Zug and Luzern in Grade 2 and International School Basel as a classroom and learning support/extension teacher in grades 4 and 5.
I now tutor individuals and small groups of students in mathematics, spelling, English language skills, and any other area. It is so rewarding to see the growth students can make with that extra bit of targeted support!
